THE WAIT IS OVER!
ezmuze+2.0 is now available on the marketplace
Get it now!
Server Stuff
We will be slowly rolling out the server over the next week or so - firstly only online for short bursts, and then full time once the kinks are ironed out. Once that is online we will then start rolling out more functionality around what you can do with you uploaded songs.
What Next for ezmuze+2.x?
We are already hard at work on the first update - and its gonna be awesome. We aren't ready to announce features yet, and timeline is too soon to tell, but the core of it is done, so news wont be far behind.
The future of ezmuze+1.x
With ezmuze+2.0 out, we have reduced the price of ezmuze+1 to 240MSP. Considering it was 800MSP when it came out, we think thats quite the bargain! If you know anyone who hasnt jumped in yet, why not get them to try the first ezmuze+?
The future of ezmuze+1.x server
The more we investigate the possibility of using ezmuze+2's networking tech in ezmuze+1.x, the more it looks like it just wont work. Due to the way it works, ezmuze+1.x's server tech is not the most reliable beast in the world and keeping it online is costly. What we will try to do is have a day every 2 weeks or so where we run the server for 12 hours or so (with someone watching it and giving it a prod when it breaks). We'll keep you updated once we get this sorted.
What to do if you have problems with ezmuze+2
As much care and attention we put into ezmuze+2, its still more than likely there are going to be issues. We are hoping to get some bugtracking on the site, but until thats set up, please email me at james@ezmuze.co.uk and include 'ezmuze+2 issue' in the subject and we'll get you up and running ASAP.
Finally...
I want to say a huge thanks to all of our users for making this community what it is, the guys and gals who donated to us, giving us the boost when we needed it most, to the ezmuze idol guys for being the most passionate people ever, to the artists who contributed some amazing loops and of course our families for standing by us on what turned out to be an epic journey getting this to market.
