ezmuze+2, website and IndieGoGo Update

Around a year ago, we run a funding drive for this version of ezmuze. While it didn't go crazy (certainly by todays insane kickstarter standards) we managed to raise $600 which really helped with prize funds and some software purchases. We are now polishing up the last little bits before peer review VERY SOON and one of those bits is the in game list of donators, and readying free copies to those who qualify for them.

If you donated anonymously and want to claim your credits/free copy - please email me (with your receipt if possible) to james@ezmuze.co.uk.

If you are in the credits and don't want your name to appear as it does in indiegogo - mail me with how you want it displayed.

I will be sending all codes for those who donated $25 via indiegogo.

The two *CHAMPIONS* who donated over $25 will receive TWO codes, one for themselves, one for a friend.

Those who are entitled to get a free copy will get redeemable codes as SOON as I am able to get them. There is a 50/50 chance this will be around 2 weeks before release day (once we pass peer review, we are going to pick a date around 2 weeks after and then get reviews and PR done etc so release day will be epic) - so *hopefully* those who donated not only get a free copy but they get it early!

On that note: if you run a gaming blog, please mail me to discuss getting you a free copy for review purposes. We are also open to sponsorship ideas, especially if you are a smaller site.

As for the state of ezmuze: the demo is done, the credits will take just a few minutes and we have a single bug to investigate. On release, the server will be considered 'in testing' - we can't promise it'll be online nor stable till we get some usage data. Once this version is out and people start using the server we'll use the experience to learn about how good it is and make improvements.

We expect to release updates frequently - and will be experimenting with an alternative to get satisfaction for feedback as we found it very awkward to use (the same things cropping up again and again - fixes were burried under people asking the question again and again) - probably going to use a TRAC system or similar.

Once ezmuze+2.0 is out, the website will be the #1 priority. Don't expect to be able to upload on day one and see your songs. The reasoning will become very clear once I get it all working.
