ezmuze+2 fixes

as expected, there are a few teething issues with ezmuze+2.0. We collating the issues and finding fixes asap. This post will serve as a holding place for all bugs found, temporary solutions and updates on the first patch.

First channel - THIS BUG HAS BEEN FOUND AND RESOLVED IN 2.01
Using the first channel then saving causes crash on loading - including 'load last song' on launching ezmuze. Not everyone is experiencing this, so best of avoiding this channel till our first patch.

Alternate rock 01 causes issues - THIS BUG HAS BEEN FOUND AND RESOLVED IN 2.01
This loop has been causing some issues. Until further notice, best advice is to avoid using it in a song.

Slow scratchy playback - PROBLEM FOUND - FIXING
Sometimes loading a song with the default tempo of 98 actually registers as a tempo of 0. Simply go into song settings and change the tempo to 99 and then back to 98.

Crash on startup (loading previous song) - THIS BUG HAS BEEN FOUND AND RESOLVED IN 2.01
Probably related to the 'Alternate rock 01' crash, there currently is no solution other than deleting the save file for ezmuze (which also deletes all songs created). The first patch will add a screen asking if you want to load the last song you were working on, to avoid these sorts of issues.

Full Install issues - THIS BUG HAS BEEN FOUND AND RESOLVED IN 2.01
** As far as we can tell this is resolved but there are still possible issues with select XBOXs ** It sounds like some xboxs arent completing the install properly. First thing to try is to go into the storage settings in the dashboard and remove 'Storage for ezmuze+2.0' (which will delete any songs created up till now) - once thats done, make sure there is over 1gb free storage (delete some unimportant stuff if there isn't).

Once thats done, try the install again.

The xbox storage system is not,to put it politely, the best in the world. Its prone to slowdowns and general weirdness. One thing that seems to help a lot is if ezmuze is installed to a USB stick instead of the hard drive (2gb stick should be plenty), meaning it doesnt have to share the hard drive with anything else (you can also format the HD and install ezmuze first, then everything else, but obviously thats a big pain in the butt.)

If you still have problems, or no USB key large enough to use, try using the OnDemand install instead.
